Lightner Creek Inn is open to religious and spiritual groups, corporate and professional gatherings, school groups, couples, or individuals who seek a beautiful, natural setting in which to focus and renew.

This is Lightner Creek Inn, a Durango CO Bed and Breakfast . . . much more inviting than a hotel, and much more cost-effective than comparable facilities. Surrounded by nature and supported by attentive staff, your group will be able to experience the very most from its time here. And, the flexible configuration of our facilities guarantees the privacy to fully concentrate on your particular goals.
The professional and business organizations that make use of Lightner Creek Inn's unique location appreciate the close and convenient proximity to Downtown Durango CO. We also know that having a relax environment for retreats is beneficial for both the group and the leadership. We, upon request, remove any services that interfere with this goal. We remove from each room Television access (take out the satellite access card), phones and remove free wireless access to make your groups retreat experience a more productive and relaxing experience.
Few regret the spotty cell phone reception saying it aids in truly being away from the office!
For those out-of-session times, we provide a wide variety of recreational opportunities and relaxing services from hiking in the nearby Colorado Trail, to yoga classes, massage services, spa treatments, mountain biking, road cycling, running, to indoor games and cozy conversation areas. The Living room in our Main Building is accessible around the clock, and the Kitchen is open until 10:00 PM for people to work informally in small groups, relax with colleagues, and enjoy complimentary beverages.

Maluhia "Serenity" Yurts ~ Events Space ~ 2011 |

One of our three Maluhia "Serenity" Yurts would be finish by July 2011. This beautiful yurt would be one of three yurts that would be use for yoga, meditation and small meeting spaces. These three yurts would represent the beginning and the foundation of Lotus Oasis Retreats. As our first yurt, Ula, would be utilized by our guest for small meeting, workshops and retreats. As we continue to build our other two yurts, E-komo-mai and A-hui-hou, and start looking forward toward the beginning of our next addition, Pukalani Event's Space (Yakima Barn), which would begin in 2012. This yurt will be 30 ft. in diameter.

Pukalani Events Space ~ 2012 |

Our New Yakima Barn would be finish by June 2012. Pukalani or "Heavenly Gate" Events Space would be building in two phases. First phase is the main construction as well as the completion of the first floor. This phase will be completed by June 2013. The second phase is the second floor (loft space) and the solar system that will make this building self-sufficient. This phase will be complete in the summer of 2014. This facility will be 36 ft. long X 24 ft. wide. The first floor will have 864 square feet of space (10 ft. tall) and the loft will have about 648 square feet of space (8 ft tall in the center). These two spaces will allow Lightner Creek to offer our offsite business guests with two different types of spaces. Our bottom floor will be able to handle tables, chairs and visual/audio equipment. Our loft will be set to be more intimate with comfortable seating and soft lightning.

- Main Floor will be able to handle four (4) 6 ft. round tables or five (6) 8 ft. long tables
